About this Bike:
An outstanding bike of it's era, the Record Ace was a much sought after bike by the rider of the day but as you'd expect, this one does have some signs of ageing. It is in an overall very good condition and has benefited from new tape, cables and outers. Sizing, Raleigh listed this as 60cm (23 1/2) but is more like 58cm in geometry (23).

A note about our used bicycles. All Items are genuine vintage and whilst in full working order, may also so show signs of age or own some distinguishing marks. As well as these signs of character there may also be some signs of rust (faint and few) and some signs of mottling on the chrome. Where possible we have tried to show these on photographs. These small imperfections are commensurate with what is expected of a bike of this age.The bikes are not new.
You will be buying a used bike, so please be aware of the following;
This bike is a lovely looking example of an almost entirely original Vintage Classic Bicycle. However it does have some marks and some signs of dry rust to the exterior. This does not detract from the bike at all and in our view only adds to its character. The bike's Fern Green colour is subtle and does not draw attention to any misdemeanour that might be found on the frame. Attention is particularly drawn to the rear stays.
