About this Bike:
This Witcomb frame dates to the 1960's and has several features that make it highly collectable.
In the original signature colour of Witcomb, the remarkable paint work and aged patina are positively endearing .
Built with delightful Nervex Proffessional lugs, it is less common to have the full set of these on one frame ( Frame, Bottom Bracket & Fork Crown). Even less common , the Nervex sticker on the tubing. the stays on the rear of frame feature a carefully crafted double bevel, nicely presenting a gold outlined 'W' at the top.
Simplex ends, common throught France are less so on a British made bike.
The Baylis Wiley Bottom Bracket provides a frame that was not just superbly crafted but expertly thought out too.
